Note: This procedure involves editing a game file; create a backup copy of the
file before proceeding. Use a text editor to edit the "Definitions" file in the
game directory. You may increase/decrease the strength of any unit in the game.
You can also increase speed, intelligence, etc.

Press [Ctrl] + [Shift] + ~ during game play to display the console window.
Then, type one of the following codes to activate the cheat function.

Code Result
------------------------
get=[item name] - Spawn item

Cheat: Unlock All Levels:
-------------------------
Note: This cheat requires editing a file, so please make sure to back it up. First,
open up your Dawn of War\Profiles folder and choose which profile you are going to
use. Now go to \W40k\singleplayer\campaign\state1 and open up "campaignstate.lua"
with some type of text editor (I suggest notepad or wordpad). Now you need to change
two lines.
The "maxmission = #" and the "scenario = #". Just change the # signs to whatever
mission you want (the maximum is 11 and both # signs have to be the same).

Space Marine Tactics:
---------------------
A good tactic with any race is to establish a base quickly, but it is especially
important with the space marine. While it's a good idea to capture strategic points
closest to your base from the start, do not embark to far before you establish a
solid base.

The first thing to build is the Stronghold. From there, recruit more servitors to
speed up the building process. Afterwards, see to increasing your squad cap (the
population).

Before you start building major buildings, construct at least 5 plasma generators
for power. Look to build the chapel barracks and armory, before upgrading the
stronghold's level.
With relatively basic defences established, sally forth and seize nearby strategic
points. At all strategic points you capture, build a listening post then a couple
of turrets. This way you can protect your strategic points from enemy probes.

With the -dev in the file target, go into the game press [control] + [shift] + [~]
(tilde) and then type sd_instant_build=1

Webway:
-------
The eldar may have a small building area but use webway gates to emprove the siza
ald build webway gates near stratgic points and relics and yo can trans port squads
to protect them if under attack.

Unit Limit Circumvention:
-------------------------
This is only usable in the multiplayer maps (in fake multiplayer). While you are
playing any race you will eventualy reach you population cap. Well the Ork's have
found a way around that. Once you reach your pop-cap for the Ork's simply save the
game. But heres the Twist you save the game under Orkz. You then exit the game and
load the game you just saved. Your Pop-cap will now be at zero, but you will still
have all of the units that you saved with!
